AT&T Previews Black Friday Gadgets

AT&T showed off popular devices that will be in high demand this holiday season.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Black Friday is less than a week away, which means retailers are bringing out their newest gadgets.

"Tablets have just exploded," AT&T Regional Vice President and General Manager Nancy Garvey said.

Samsung and Apple are the two main manufacturers of tablets this year.

The big difference between the Apple and Samsung devices are their operating systems, which Garvey said is a big factor in which device people choose.

"There are really three different types of operating systems," Garvey said. "It's really a personal preference."

Garvey recommends that customers use compatible tablets with their cellular device.

A growing trend this year in both cell phones and tablets is bigger screens.

"It's a mix between a phone and a tablet," Garvey said.

AT&T will open at 8 a.m. on Black Friday.
