(MARYVILLE, Mo.) The Bearcats continue to build moment late this season as they won fifth straight Sunday, a 10-3 decision over Lincoln to complete a sweep of the Blue Tigers.
Northwest (19-25, 16-22) struck with two runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a pair of RBI from Eric McGlaughlin. They never surrendered that lead as the scoring came steadily in the third, fifth, and final three innings from there on out.
McGlaughlin led the way with three RBI while Eric Swain added two. Chase Anderson got the start on the mound, lasting seven innings while giving up just two runs despite 11 hits.
The Bearcats play their final games in Maryville Tuesday when they host Fort Hays State.
