Beer Brats
1 dozen brats
Beer, to cover (dark or light, your choice)
1 medium, large, sweet onion

Simmer gently for at least 15 minutes (cooked through).
Transfer to a hot grill, top brown.
Return to heated beer mixture until ready to serve.

Serve on a roll with sour kraut, mustard or your choice condiment.
