About 2,500 students came to Benton's football field to watch them gear up for homecoming night.
This is an event that Southside school administrators have been planning since this summer.
They said it is a way to show the community is working together to make the schools the best it can be.
"We really want to just build Southside pride, but also to work on just the education in general in Southside. We have a new saying, 'Live right, learn right, Southside.' So, we're living that and learning that. So, we're just wanting to bring everybody together so we're all on the same page," said Beery Johnson, Benton High School principal.
