Berry Crisp

All you need:




8 cups fruit (assorted berries – strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries)*

¼ cup coconut palm sugar

¼ cup chia seeds

1 tablespoon cinnamon



1 cup old-fashioned oats

1/3 cup coconut palm sugar

1/3 cup quinoa flour

1 tablespoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon salt

5 tablespoons coconut oil

All you do:



1.       Preheat oven to 375º F. 

2.       Combine filling ingredients and place in a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. 



1.       Mix oats, sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl. 

2.       Add coconut oil and work into dry ingredients until mixture is crumbly. 

3.       Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over berries.

4.       Bake for 40-45 minutes or until filling is bubbly and topping is lightly browned and crisp.


·         *If using frozen berries, you may need to add an extra tablespoon of chia seeds to thicken filling.

·         If berries are very tart, you may wish to add an extra tablespoon or two of sugar to sweeten. 

Adjust to your preferences.
