Beulah M. Sanger, 98, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Saxton Riverside Country Villa.
Beulah was born in Willowbrook, Missouri to Frank and Addie (McIntosh) Hersh.
She worked for Noma Lites and the St. Joseph State Hospital until her retirement. Beulah then became at homemaker. She was a member of Copeland Baptist Church and liked reading, playing crossword puzzles and gardening.
She was preceded in death by George J. Sanger, Sr., Husband; Addie (McIntosh-Hersh) Tolmie, Mother; Frank Hersh, father; Helen Hersh, Marie (Hersh) Brim and Nellie (Hersh) Busby, sisters; Elton Hersh and Edward Tolmie, brothers; Bryan Ferguson, grandson; Jessica and Amber Stokes, great-granddaughters; Thaddeous Rivers, great-grandson and John Fisher, son-in-law.
Surviving family includes sons, George J. (Joyce) Sanger, Jr.; Phillip L. (Clara) Sanger; son, Kenneth D. (Joann) Sanger; daughters, Rose M. Fisher; Barbara J. (Harold) Ferguson; Frances A. Wohletz; and Johanna C. (Louis) Wohletz; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 12:00 Noon Tuesday at our chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday evening.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of the Donor’s Choice.
