Bitter Cold Follows Wednesday's Snow

After a solid two inches of snow fell, we are very cold; we began with a low temperature below zero.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The snow began around 2:30pm yesterday, and was done a few hours after sunset.

After it fell, temperatures continued to plummet, and we were below zero by the time we woke up this morning.

We'll hardly see a warmup, but today's sunshine will be welcome change.

A brief warming trend gets us close to freezing for Friday and Saturday, but some big time cold air comes right back in by Sunday.

The spring semester for St. Joseph schools begins in absolutely frigid form, with a low below zero and an expected high on Monday in the single digits.
