Bridge Work Begins on Stretch of I-29 in St. Joseph

The lane closure is expected to last for three weeks as crews repair the Hopkins Creek Bridge, which is located just north of the I-29 and I-229 interchange.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The Missouri Department of Transportation reminds drivers to be alert for bridge work on Interstate 29.

The work has closed the southbound driving lane of I-29 near the Hopkins Creek Bridge.

The lane closure is expected to last for three weeks as crews repair the bridge, which is located just north of the I-29 and I-229 interchange.

MoDOT stressed that over-width and overweight loads are prohibited on the bridge during the lane closure.
