Chamber of Commerce Honors Student, Businesswoman

The Chamber of Commerce honors a different character trait each month through the Character in Education program.
Each month the Chamber of Commerce recognizes two people for their character.

This month, the student honor goes to Devin Cinton-Ziegler, a 6th grader at Pickett Elementary in St. Joseph.

Donna Zion also received recognition for her character in the workplace. She is the assistant vice president and branch manager for Mercantile Bank in St. Joseph.

This month's character trait is cooperation.

Cinton-Ziegler was nominated by her counselor at Pickett, Dee Ann Kelley. Kelly said Cinton-Ziegler exemplifies cooperation 110% and she is amazing.

Zion said she thinks cooperation is vital to the success of any business and she feels it's important to work together as a team to meet the company's needs.
