The Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual new executives luncheon, and recognized 91 managers.
This is an annual event organized to introduce these new executives to other business leaders and chamber members.
The St. Joseph School District's new Superintendent, Fred Czerwonka, is still settling in to his leadership role.
He offered advice as the luncheon's keynote speaker.
"We have new people moving here and new people taking on new roles in the community, and in their leadership positions it helps us to see, or maybe be able to help others and maybe be able to reach down and lift them and to help them to help others succeed," said Dr. Czerwonka.
Dr. Czerwonka discussed the seven habits of highly motivated people, urging those in attendance to try to be extraordinary every day.
