(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) St. Joseph's Chick-Fil-A celebrated a grand reopening Tuesday.

The restaurant at the Shoppes at North Village recently changed ownership. So, the Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting to recognize Jared Johnson and his wife as the new owners.

The business first opened in St. Joseph back in 2010.

The Johsnons are from Texas. They hope to keep the restaurant involved in the community.

"It's a family company," said Johnson. "All we're going to do is try to provide great service for the community and try to have a positive impact on anybody that comes in here."

The restaurant's previous owner moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to take a job there.
