Kansas City, MO (Sports Network) - The Kansas City Chiefs signed first-round draft pick defensive end Tyson Jackson on Friday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
KC selected Jackson with the third-overall pick out of LSU, after the Louisiana native racked up 122 tackles, 18 1/2 sacks, 27 tackles for a loss, two fumble recoveries, two forced fumbles and one interception over 53 collegiate contests.
The Chiefs also waived linebacker Weston Dacus. Dacus dressed in eight games for the club in 2008.
