A Cold Shot of Arctic Air for Tuesday

A Cold Shot of Arctic Air for Tuesday

Today is going to be very cold, thanks to strong northwest winds both at the surface and higher in the atmosphere.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) After a couple of really nice days, the winds of change blew like crazy Monday night and here we are.

We began the day with some stout northwest winds, and wind chill values well into the teens below zero.

Expect a very cold Tuesday, that will end with cloudier skies and a Wednesday that won't necessarily be as cold.

But that's not the warm up.

Thursday will be crazy cold, and it is ahead of the real warm up.

The weekend doesn't look to bad temperature-wise, so while we weather this cold shot, we can look forward to that.
