Patchy fog will stick around in the morning, but the afternoon will be sunny with highs around 80 degrees.
( ST. JOSEPH, MO. ) The new week is starting off with some clouds as well as patchy fog. Temperatures are in the mid 60s and with lights winds and moisture still around from yesterday's rain showers, visibility will be reduced to under a mile. Clouds will clear out throughout the morning and the afternoon as a cold front moves through the region. Winds will switch to the northwest and increase during the afternoon up to 20 miles per hour. Gusts could reach 25 miles per hour. Temperatures will only get up to around 80 degrees. Winds will continue out of the north northwest overnight, but will die down a bit, only blowing at 5 to 10 miles per hour. It will be cool as overnight lows drop down into the mid to upper 50s under mostly clear skies. Ample sunshine will continue on Tuesday as high pressure settles in across the region. Cooler air will filter in as winds will be out of the north northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Highs will only reach the upper 70s.
