When we woke up Sunday morning, it was confirmed. It was the biggest snowfall of the season (sorry school kids; it happened a day after the last day of school!).
And now, we face the after effect: two extremely cold days back to back.
Today's high will barely get out of the single digits, our warming cut short by stout northwest winds and some early morning cloud cover.
Tonight, we see lows below zero with the potential for the coldest morning so far.
Thankfully, there is a slight warming trend that begins on Christmas, and could produce a high in the low 40s (or close to it) by Saturday.
