A Frigid Thursday Ahead

We knew it was coming and now it's here; another frozen blast of arctic air chills us to the bone today.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) We knew a big cool down was coming for today, and it's here and it's massive.

A huge amount of cold air has been rushing into the region since yesterday evening, and the full brunt of this is a low temperature below zero and a wind chill colder than negative 20.

Thankfully the arctic bite lasts just a day, and we're into the 40s by Friday afternoon, and a similar outlook will settle in for the weekend.

The next arctic air blast will be Monday morning.

Winter in the Midwest brings very rapid changes, so don't let them take you by surprise!
