Interserv leaders say they've returned more than one-million dollars to seniors in northwest Missouri.
The agency used 15 volunteer tax prepares this season. The center's director, Dave Howery, says its important to provide assistance for elderly in the community.
"One of our long range goals as an organization is to address how do we help seniors and caregivers. What are those services that we need to rap around families to help them to address what those needs are," stated Howery.
The center says they are already making plans for next years tax season. Since there's a turnover for volunteers each year, the agency is searching for help.
