Amazon Reveals its First Smartphone

Amazon is hoping that their smartphone will hook the consumers and entice them to make more Amazon.com purchases
(ABC News) Online retailer Amazon revealed its first smartphone Wednesday.

It contains 3-D features visible to eye without special glasses and has sensors that track you head letting you open menus just by tilting the device.

It also lets you quickly translate texts and upload business cards straight to your contacts.

Amazon is hoping that their smartphone will hook the consumers and entice them to make more Amazon.com purchases.

Even if the phone sells terribly and the company loses money, analysts say investors are willing to cut the retailer some slack.

They are used to Amazon investing heavily in its business and showing little or no profit in a short time.
