Another Cold Day, Chance for Light Snow Ahead

Another Cold Day, Chance for Light Snow Ahead

Another early morning below zero, with a high barely in the teens by the afternoon. There's even a chance for some flurries or light snow on the way over the next few days.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) It has been colder, but it's tough to say that warming to the single digits is a tangible change.

It's still very cold this morning here in town.

But if we're patient, there will be some better temperatures by the end of next week.

In the immediate forecast, however, temperatures will remain below freezing as they fluctuate with the chance for some flurries and light snow through Sunday.

Don't freak out about the chance for snow, it looks light with very little significant accumulation at this point.

By Wednesday of next week we're looking at a good possibility of temperatures above freezing, which will of course melt a little bit of the snow pack that's been in place for nearly a week now.
