Another Winter Storm This Weekend

After an above freezing Friday, look out for a wild and wintry start to the month of March.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Even as temperatures bounce back and forth, most of the attention is on a forecast that's still more than 24 hours out.

Yes, we are looking at winter weather this weekend, and if you'd like I'll let you know exactly what we're facing:

Rain this evening, as temperatures remain above freezing in the afternoon.

Light wintry precipitation is possible on Saturday, with minimal accumulation.

Saturday night looks to be the most productive time frame with potentially heavy snow.

That snow could continue into Sunday morning; all told we're looking realistically at between 5 and 8 inches of total accumulation.

Temperatures rebound above freezing by Wednesday of next week.
