Aquatic Park to Begin Half-Price Admission

The drop in price is in response to the closing of Hyde and Krug pools for the summer.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Swimmers are about to get a break on admission into St. Joseph's Aquatic Park.

The city announced Tuesday that admission into the park will be cut in half during certain hours beginning this week.

The drop in price is in response to the closing of Hyde and Krug pools for the summer.

A shortage of lifeguards kept both pools from opening.

The Aquatic Park will offer half-price admission on Mondays after 4:00 p.m. and on Thursdays between 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The half-price admission will begin Thursday, July 10 and run through August, 17 when the park closes for the season.
