No. 11 BC (22-8) faces Westminster College (19-12) at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City in the opening round of the 77th annual NAIA Divison I National Championship.
The Griffins have three players score in double figures on average, led by senior forward Tallon Robertson at 18 points per contest.
It's similar to the Ravens' approach with senior forward Charlie Wallrapp leading the charge at 15 points per game, followed by John Harris, Jr. at 11.3.
"It's almost eerie how similar they are. They run the same sets, they run the same complimentary offense, ball screens," Benedictine head coach Ryan Moody said. "There's a comfort level there for us, but the comfort level is also going to be there for them."
Wednesday's game will mark Benedictine's first appearance in the national tournament since 1970, and their eighth time in the dance in program history. The Ravens are 13-5 in the tournament all-time.
Westminster's making its 12 the trip to the NAIA Division I National Championship. The Griffins are 4-11 there all-time.
