Bowe is Back

Dwayne Bowe signs his franchise tender.

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) Dwayne Bowe's off-season holdout is officially over.

The wide receiver signed his franchise tender worth $9.5 million on Friday.

This comes one day after the Kansas City Chiefs wrapped up training camp at Missouri Western in St. Joseph.

Bowe now joins the Chiefs in Kansas City as they prepare for their second preseason game against the St. Louis Rams. He will not be able to play in that contest, though.

The former LSU Tigers caught 81 passes for 1,159 yards and five touchdowns last season.

He had 15 touchdown receptions in 2010, and Bowe has over 1,000 receiving yards in three of his five seasons in the NFL.

Bowe has 356 career receptions which is seventh most in Chiefs history, and his 36 receiving touchdowns is fifth.
