Bringing Swagger Back

Cameron football has seen better days, but roster numbers and morale is up.
Cameron football has seen better days after two one-win seasons in three years. Roster numbers and morale are both up this year for a team looking to change the recent trend.

"Last year was not what we wanted at all," Brendan Gabbart said.

The standards are high at Cameron aiming for the playoffs every year. That has not been met recently.  Dave Rash has coached two one-win teams in three seasons and that won't fly around Dragon camp.

"We need to be more consistent with our play," Rash said. "More consistent with our effort.  Just like every high school kid, they play hard at the beginning, and they got to learn to play hard the whole game. "

It'll be easier to play the whole game in 2011.  Twenty new roster additions and ten returning seniors have the swagger back in black and gold.

The  players are confident and so is Head Coach Dave Rash, who he thinks he's finally got the formula in year four.
