Cameron Facility Reports Two More Inmate Deaths This Week

Both men died Monday at the Western Missouri Correctional Center of apparent natural causes, according to the Department of Corrections.
(CAMERON, Mo.) Three inmates have died this week at the Western Missouri Correctional Center in Cameron.

Gregory Eaton, of St. Charles County, died Monday of apparent natural causes. The 60-year-old was serving time as a chronic DWI offender. He's been in the facility since 2009.

Frank Troya also died Monday. The Department of Corrections reported that the 58-year-old died of apparent natural causes. The Clay County man had been serving time as a chronic DWI offender at the facility since 2011.

A third inmate, Nicholas Legrand, 35, died Sunday morning at the facility.

He was serving a 13-year sentence for first-degree robbery. The Department of Corrections does not suspect foul play in Legrand's death, but an autopsy is planned.
