Candidates for elected positions with the City of St. Joseph are circulating petitions for candidacy.

Candidates were allowed to pick up petitions beginning Sept. 18. They must be returned with required number of signatures between Oct. 15 and Nov. 19.

At-large positions require at least 250 signatures. District councilmember candidates must receive at least 75 signatures.

Primary elections will be held Feb. 4, 2014 and the general election is set for April 8, 2014.

Below is a list of people who have picked up petitions as of Oct. 3.
