However, there was a catch. At the beginning of the school year, Cortney Johnson signed a pledge to drive safe throughout the year.
On Saturday, at Car City Chrysler, about 40 teens, who also signed the pledge, entered a drawing to win that car.
It was all an effort to make sure teens stay safe on the road.
"When you're driving, you usually don't have to worry about yourself. You worry about other people around you, that aren't driving safe. But, if you make sure you are driving safe, that's even more assurance that no one else will get hurt," said Johnson.
The "I Am A Safe Driver" program is for St. Joseph high school students.
The goal is to decrease the number of injuries and deaths from car accidents.
