Despite the gloomy weather, Mozingo Lake Park, was filled with Gallagher fans, and people looking to enjoy a festival of music.
Gallagher said he does not get to come home often, but being in his old stomping grounds is always an honor.
"Coming back, and seeing that support again, getting to see the people that are purchasing my music, and helping my career do some of the things that it's doing, I can't complain about that. I love that," he said.
Gallagher has had back-to-back albums on iTunes' top 50 charts.
This is the second year for the country music festival.
