Country Music Star Combines Passions at Cameron Air Show

Rain delayed the start of the Cameron Air Show but couldn't dampen Aaron Tippin's spirits.
(CAMERON, Mo.) Rain delayed the start of the Cameron Air Show but couldn't dampen country music star Aaron Tippin's spirits.

The singer is set to perform Saturday night and is also a licensed pilot.

"I meant to be in the airplane business but things worked out a little different and I ended up with music as my living," Tippin said. "It's a blessing. I enjoy it. I love to come to air shows. How could it get better for me? I get to do my job and enjoy airplanes."

Saturday's show was delayed for two hours but continued after the delay. More events are set for Sunday with a little extra for the fans to make up for Saturday's postponed events.

A full schedule and ticket information can be found on the show's website.
