Crash Injures 4 on Highway Near Bethany

Three adults and a child were injured in the accident in Harrison County Wednesday.
(HARRISON COUNTY, Mo.) Three adults and a child were injured in an accident in Harrison County Wednesday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Ciara Grams, 22, of Princeton, crossed the center line on US 136 Highway east of Bethany just after 10 a.m.

Troopers said her Ford Escort went off the road before hitting a fence and rolling onto its side in a field. She was thrown from the car and suffered serious injuries. She was flown by LifeFlight to St. Luke's after being taken to the hospital in Bethany.

A passenger in the car, Jenny Miller, 37, of Princeton was also seriously injured. She was also flown to St. Luke's from Bethany.

A 2-year-old passenger, Layla Grams, had minor injuries. A 25-year-old man, Keith Watson had moderate injuries.

According to the crash report, none of the adults were wearing a seat belt. The child was using a safety device
