The fourth annual Quaker Oats reunion was on Sunday at Krug Park.
The plant, that was more than 70 years old at the time, shut down in 2001, forcing 600 people to find new jobs.
That situation still hits home for former workers.
"You know, they take it as that's what happened, couldn't have been helped, so they moved on with their lives. We're happy that the lives are here today where we can see them again, you know. It's great!" said Bob Carrillo, a reunion planner.
Quaker products that were made at the plant included Cap'n Crunch, Instant Oats and Grits, and King Vitamin and Toasted Oatmeal Cereals.
