Garnett Selected for MIAA Hall of Fame

Former Missouri Western golfer Brice Garnett is one of ten individuals selected for the MIAA Hall of Fame.
(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) For the second time in three years, former Missouri Western golfer Brice Garnett is entering a hall of fame.

Garnett -- currently playing on the PGA Tour -- is one of ten individuals making up the 2014 MIAA Hall of Fame class. He also went into the Missouri Western Hall of Fame in 2012.

The Gallatin native's played in 12 PGA events this season making the cut in ten tournaments. Garnett's top finish so far came in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. At three-under-par for the tournament, he finished tied for 19th.

During his time at Missouri Western, Garnett was a three-time All-American, three-time MIAA Champ and placed fourth at the NCAA Division II National Championship in 2005.

The hall of fame ceremony is set for June fifth in Kansas City. Reservations for the event are on a first come, first serve basis.
