"Have a little market type shop like a green grocer where people can come in extended hours and do their own shopping. We're strong believers that the downtown is the center of a community," said Megan Gallant, with Goode Food Delivered.
Goode Food Delivered will open this spring.
Owners believe in health, economic and environmental benefits that eating, local natural food provides.
The more customers ask for chemical-free foods, the more farmers will grow them.
Boxes start at $20 and can be increased in $5 increments.
Many customers enjoy the weekly surprise, and find pre-selected produce helps inspire them in planning meals each week.
Goode Food Delivered also customizes 10 to 20 week programs year-round. The plan is to be open at least three days a week.
