Group Offers Help with Insurance Enrollment

If you're still uninsured time is running out for you to sign up for health insurance.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) An important deadline is right around the corner.

March 31 is the deadline to sign up for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

Northwest Health Services is offering free assistance for those who need help.

So far, they have helped more than 200 Missourians enroll for health insurance.

They say it's important to sign up for health insurance so you won't face a penalty.

"Our goal is just to get everybody insurance. If for some reason we can't, we'll do an exemption to get you out of that penalty. Health insurance is our main passion so it's just real important not to be scared to ask questions," said Tyler Graff with Northwest Health Services.

So far, 5 million people have signed up for health insurance nationwide.
