Lafayette senior Xavier Kurth scored 12 points in the first two quarters alone, and capped off the half with a layup just before the buzzer to send the Irish into the break with a 19-10 lead.
Kurth finished the game with a team-high 13 points and six rebounds. Chester Goudeau followed with eight points on 4-5 shooting.
