The local chapter of the NAACP and the Buchanan County Concerned Voters are reminding people to vote next week.
The groups say since voting was down during the last election, they wanted to help spread the word about the upcoming election.
Organizers say regardless of your political affiliation, just get out and vote.
"Many people set back and say how disatisfied they are which does no good at all. I always tell those people what you need to do is levy your complaint through voting," stated Stephen Robbs, member of the St. Joseph Chapter of the NAACP.
The rally was held at the intersection of Belt Highway and Frederick.
