(WEBB CITY, Mo.) Walter Gibson still works five days a week at G&S Iron Works in Webb City.

He's a welder and works with his son and grandson. Gibson doesn't believe in sitting at home and doing nothing, and says work is good for your soul and health. He says he doesn't move too fast these days, but he is steady.

"Well, if they seen me walk, they'd think I'm 110," said Walter Gibson, 100-years-old.

A birthday celebration will be held this weekend for his 100th birthday.
