Missouri Supreme Court to Make Ruling in U.S. Solar Civil Suit

The state court will rule if the case will be heard in Buchanan County Court or if it will be thrown out and dealt with by the Missouri Public Service Commission.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.)  A civil lawsuit against a St. Joseph business is now before the Missouri Supreme Court for a ruling before the case can continue.

More than two dozen plaintiffs in the suit claim U.S. Solar misled KCP&L in solar jobs the company completed to pocket bigger rebate payments then they were supposed to receive.

U.S. Solar is asking the court to throw out the suit, saying the matter should be a question for the Public Service Commission to sort out and not a judge.
