Missouri Western Offers Sweet Deal for Business Students

The university announced its expanding a program that gives students a chance to own and operate their very own Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A sweet business opportunity got even sweeter for some Missouri Western State University students Monday.

The university announced its expanding a program that gives students a chance to own and operate their very own Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store.

The entrepreneurship program will now be offered during both semesters instead of once a year.

Students with a business minor and even alumni from the Craig School of Business will be able to compete for the store.

The program has helped nine Missouri Western graduates become business owners over the last four years.

"How many opportunities do you have in your life to graduate from college and then own a store and be making a really nice salary right after graduation," said Dr. Robert Vartabedian, MWSU president.

The entreprenuership program started in 2008 by CEO of Craig Realty Group - Steve Craig.
