Motorcyclist Killed in Accident Near Craig

A Nebraska driver was killed just outside of Craig when his motorcycle hit a sign.
(CRAIG, Mo.) A one-vehicle crash on Interstate 29 claimed the life of a motorcyclist Wednesday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened just after 7:00 p.m. when Lawrence Hyman, 67, was traveling south on the interstate one mile south of Craig.

Troopers say Hyman went off the roadway and hit a highway sign. The collision sent Hyman off his motorcycle along the west side of the highway.

Hyman was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

According to troopers, he was wearing his safety helmet.
