The St Joe Mustangs season came to an unpleasant end with an 13-1 mercy rule loss in the NBC Central Regional's. But despite the low end, the Mustangs had plenty of high points. Including finishing 29-17 and averaging nearly 2000 fans and breaking the single game attendance record on more than one occasion. Landinn Eckhardt will be sticking around the area. The Central graduate is transferring to Northwest from Illinois State. Eckhardt who served as a Mustangs catcher this season says manager Matt Johnson, who's an assistant for the Bearcats, is the main reason for the change.
