Highs will top out in the low to mid 70s this afternoon and overnight cooling could break record lows.
( ST. JOSEPH, MO. ) The cool air has settled in and Tuesday will start off with temperatures near record lows in the lower 50s. Sunshine will be plentiful this afternoon with just a few clouds around. Highs will only reach the mid 70s. Winds will be blowing out of the north northwest at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Mostly clear skies will continue into the overnight hours. Temperatures will once again drop down to near record lows in the lower 50s. Winds will be out of the north at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Wednesday may be a degree or two warmer with highs in the mid 70s once again. Mostly sunny skies are expected.
