No Injuries Reported After Strong Storms Strike Daviess County

The Daviess County Sheriff's Office says no injuries were reported despite damage across the western portion of the county from Thursday storms.
(GALLATIN, Mo.) Severe weather Thursday left a path of damage in western Daviess County.

According to the Daviess County Sheriff's Office, no injuries were reported despite damage to homes, barns, outbuildings and power lines in the western part of the county.

The sheriff's office received reports of damage from storms and sightings of tornadoes and funnel clouds beginning at 3 p.m. Thursday. Deputies confirmed damage from the Daviess/Dekalb County line northeast through Jameson.

Responders did not find any damage between Jameson and Gilman City. Multiple agencies, including the Missouri State Highway Patrol, assisted the Daviess County Sheriff's Office response to the storms.

A reported tornado also destroyed one home and left others damaged in Grundy County near Trenton Thursday.
