Abbie Vitosh (5-7) surrendered just two hits over five innings while striking out four. Adams led all batters by driving in four runs.
Missouri Southern (10-22, 2-6) hurler Kinnison Haley tamed the Bearcat bats in the second game, keeping things scoreless for the first 7 1/3 innings. She struck out nine batters and walked five before Marks stepped up in the eighth.
With Blythe and Cassidy Lee on the bags, the junior launched the game-winning homer to right center, handing Northwest (14-16, 7-7) their fourth straight victory.
Sarah Baldwin (7-6) earned the one-hit win as she struck out eight and surrendered no walks.
