Officers Cleared in Shooting

Two Kansas police officers were cleared of any wrongdoing in a shooting involving suspected killer Marcas McGowan.
(LEAVENWORTH, Ks.) Two officers involved in a shoot-out last month have been cleared of any wrongdoing.

Officers Steven Brandeau and Ruth Hensley did not violate any laws according to the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.

The two exchanged shots with Marcas McGowan of Atchison after he led them on a police chase last month.

Five year old Cady Harris, also of Atchison, was killed in the shootout.

McGowan is being held on several charges including murder and endangering a child.
