The festival, sponsored by the Allied Arts Council is the largest art festival in the area.
Food vendors will no longer require tickets for food purchases.
During the festival Sunday, patrons will be able to participate in worship service.
Organizers say they've been planning for a year and are anticipating a successful event.
"We're very excited. It just seems like it's all coming together very smoothly and we just can't wait for St. Joseph to come down to the grounds and enjoy each others company as a community at one of the biggest festivals that you can find for one of the biggest values you can find in northwest Missouri," stated Jeremy White, co-chair of the festival.
Admission for the festival is $10.
