The Pony Express Iris Society held its annual Iris Show.
About a dozen club members showed off their flowers for the contest.
The irises were judged in six different categories ranging from looks, to blooming, to form.
Club members spend the entire year planting, and taking care of their irises.
"You go ahead and you do plant them in the early fall, and make sure that they're all cultivated in. And the winter, of course, they do winter well here in the ice, snow and kind of temperatures we get. And, in the Spring, they blossom," said Alan Moore, President of the Pony Express Iris Society.
More than 30 different types of irises were displayed.
The Pony Express Iris Society was founded in 1992.
