Rabies Clinic Begins This Week

The annual event gives cat and dog owners the opportunity to get vaccinations for their pets.
(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The city of St. Joseph is hosting their annual rabies vaccination clinic beginning Monday.

All  dogs  and  cats  three  months  of  age  or  older  are  required  to  be  vaccinated against rabies and registered with the City.

Animal registration tags are valid for one  year  from  date  of  purchase  or  when  the  rabies  vaccination  expires.

Rabies vaccinations are $5, while registration tags are $10 for spayed and neutered animals.

Owners must bring proof of neutering or spaying to receive a registration tag.

All clinics run from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
