Robert "Bob" Emerson Jenkins 76, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in a Saint Joseph, MO health care center.

Robert "Bob" Emerson Jenkins 76, of St. Joseph, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in a Saint Joseph, MO health care center.

He was born March 17, 1938 in St. Joseph, MO, son of Waiva and Chester Jenkins.

He graduated from Faucett high school. He retired from Trans World Airlines (TWA) as a Mechanic after 31 years and 3 months of service. He enjoyed farming and raising cattle with his wife. Bob was a member of I.A.M. local 1650 Aerospace workers. When he was younger he was active in many Masonic organizations and served as Past Master of Wellington Lodge #22 AF&AM, DeKalb, MO, Past High Priest of Berming Lodge #150 R.A.M. of Faucett, MO, Present member of Moila Temple Shrine, St. Joseph, MO, Agency Lodge # 10 AF&AM, Mitchell Chapter #14, R.A.M., Council & Comandary, also a past Master of the Moila Shrine, and member of the CPA Lodge of Willow Brook, MO. Bob was a Christian.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Darren E. Jenkins, and a brother, C. Vernon Jenkins.

Survivors include, wife, Betty Jenkins of the home, two daughters, Janice (Billy) Brown of St. Joseph, MO, and Julie Kay Caldwell of Maysville, MO, two sons, Douglas Jenkins of St. Joseph, MO, and Daniel Oliver of Kansas City, MO, seven grandchildren, Mitch (Brandi) Caldwell, Derrick (Amanda) Caldwell, Bradley Robert (Aubrey) Caldwell, Amanda (Lance) Kidwell, Gregg (Kelley) Brown, Jordan Jenkins, and Drew Jenkins, and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Friday, April 4, 2014 at Rupp Funeral Home, with Rev. Albert Shirley officiating, The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Friends may call after 2pm Wednesday, at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Bethel Cemetery, DeKalb, MO.
