Cooler and drier air continues to filter into the region to start off the week.
( ST. JOSEPH, MO. ) High pressure is setting in across the central plains and will continue to bring north winds and keep temperatures well below normal heading into August. There will be plenty of sunshine today, and the entire week as well, as high temperatures only get up around 80 degrees. Winds will be out of the north northwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour. Temperatures will be cool overnight under mostly clear skies. Lows will be in the upper 50s. Winds will be out of the north at 5 to 10 miles per hour. Tomorrow will be similar to today as temperatures reach the low 80s, but winds will be light and variable.
